Dude, with the shiny beast that the PS3 is, it's gonna collect dust with or without games!

A lot of good games have been mentioned already, take your pick. Super Stardust HD is hella fun and pretty addicting, as well as some of the new trophy goals tough/fun.

Mine's collecting dust too....

Not because it's getting no use but because the shiny black beast is hard to keep clean :(

Seriously though give Battlefield BC a try if you like online shooters. Very fun game with large scale battles that have vehicles, different classes, etc.

The demo gives you a good taste of the game and one of the better maps too. Try it and see how you like it. Single player is forgettable as most multiplayer type shooters

Get oblivion! Its a great game and one of the top 5 games I wanted for my 360 when I got it!

Uncharted: Drakes fortune
coming soon: Disgaea 3: Absense of Justice
PS3 has alot of great games. It may shard most of its great games with 360 (as 360 does with PS3) but if you only have one it doesn't matter.

Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
