Yeah, I know and I don´t really like them, but my question was referring to whether his denial was for Nomura leaving or the rumor being bogus. And if Nomura leaves he would get hired by another company anyway, likely candidate would Disney which should make Soriku even more happy, so it´s really a win-win situation.

edit: ok, you´re still going to get it if Nomura joins Disney and it apparently won´t have any FF characters in it, that´s an even more good thing for you Soriku.

It´s a win-win situation for us because he loves Disney and chances are he´ll ask them if he can join. If they ask him to make a KH game, it won´t have anything to do with FF like I said. He won´t work with the KH team of course, but you´ll still get a KH without FF in it, a franchise you´re not very fond of.

I prefer them much more in FFVII and a bit less in Crisis Core. Dunno, I just got the impression that you only liked FFIX, a FF I dislike, whenever FF came up in conversation and you were downplaying the others especially FFVII and were not mentioning the old FFs at all... But not very fond of is not synomous to I don´t like, you would be much more happy if they put Tales of in KH.

Soriku didn't like FFVII because he wasn't put under the "spell" like the people that playing it when it originally came out.  Soriku is also against emo in his games and we all know FFVII is an emo-filled RPG

You know, both designs are from Nomura and the original FFVII design has many manga characteristics (see the eyes). The game had a cyber punk feel which was popular back then, see Blade Runner. But western? No, not in my eyes at least. Many FFs have sci-fi stuff, see FFX, FFIV, FFVI it´s not limited to medieval fantasy. And don´t be deluded by Final Fantasy, it originally didn´t have anything to do with medieval fantasy. Robots are popular in Japan btw, more than everywhere else in the world. Tifa has big boobs, japanese trait of creativity again.

Uh, there´s no "under the spell" at least for me with FFVII. It was my first one and I loved it, then I played FFIV and I loved too. Afterwards I played FFVIII and I liked it a lot, then I played FFVI and liked it quite a lot. Then FFIX didn´t like, FFX loved it and consider it on par with FFVII.

The only slight emo in FFVII is Cloud, but it´s done really well how he understands who he is and through his friends and their courage he comes back to his two feet. AC is emo-infested though.

And so does Ivy (japanese). FFVII is not sci-fi as well, but cyber punk totally different as well. I said, they have sci-fi elements, which should have been high technology elements instead.

It still isn´t sci-fi, it´s cyber punk :P See that big Buster Sword? Like I said the title Final Fantasy had originally nothing to do with medieval fantasy. And if you ask me, FFVI has a lot in common with FFVII in terms of technology, just take a look at the empire´s technology and afterwards Shinra´s technology; it´s on the same boat.
