Forums - Nintendo - Build Wiimote that includes Motion plus built in?

Ofcourse they damn well should, obvious isn't it. But asides from my objective view, yes they should sell seperatly but they should make it built in too.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

This is going to get confusing for consumers.....

Yeah, they should keep it as a peripheral, just put it on the Wii too...

they should it would be better!

I think that they will put it in new remotes. What will probably happen is, Wii Sports Resort will sell crazy numbers, like 20 million with enough advertising, then once people have got to grips with the Motion Plus, Nintendo will pack it inside all new wii remotes sold with Wiis and seperately as of Christmas 2009. They'll also release some coloured remotes around the same time with it inside, and they'll say "Motion Plus built in" with a little symbol. The casuals will eat them up for the pink, black and red colours, the hardcore will buy them for the upgraded controls. Thus, Motion Plus becomes standard for early adopters as well as new buyers.
