Feeling that you need to get more and more peripherals seems like a turn off to me...

 

How does nintendo's casual audience feel about them...does it attract them or does it repel? 

 

How do you feel about it?

As long as the peripherals are good, then who cares? No one is being forced to buy them, and with each new peripheral, gaming COULD (not will) get more immersive, and some peripheral could turn into the standard medium.

Obviously it attracts. Have you seen the amount of 3rd party peripherals on the market for Wii? o.O
Nintendo seems to be outdoing themselves too with The Wii Remote, Nunchuck, Classic Controller, Zapper, Balance Board, and now the Motionplus.. as well as the necessary Sensor Bar, that Wii stand and the Wii Remote Jackets. 0.O

Oh, and the Wii Wheel. And soon the WiiSpeak. 

Myself, I think it's a bit too much.

I'm alright with them, if they get some good game support... Otherwise I feel I got ripped off.



Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

i only got nunchuck and one classic controller, i plan on buying the motion plus, i dont think that's too much.

Peripherals scare people, but Nintendo was able to sell them like hotcakes (Wii-fit) so, who knows... probably they will be attracted by MotionPlus too...

Attracts, the gaming experience with most of this peripherals are fresh and it's what a lot of people want.

I personally hate it when it doesn't come in the box, but if it comes bundled, then why not? Just find some room to store it after though!



Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

I don't know what to think about it, last time i was at Zellers the game department looked like the toys department, there were add-ons for everything. From tennis rackets to lightsaber looking things, it was crazy.
