I personally like PS3's line up better for both 08 and 09.

I think 360 is solid for 2008 and so is Sony.

September is definately 360 with Viva Pinata 2, RockBand 2, Infinite Undiscovery vs. Sony's Buzz...

October will be Sony's with Socom, Motorstorm, Naruto, and LBP vs. Scene It!, Simbin's RacePro, You're in the Movies, Fable 2, a new Crash, and Mobile Ops.

November Microsoft has Gears 2, Banjo Nuts and Bolts, The Last Remnant, the next Naruto, and Left 4 Dead vs. Sony's Resistance 2, Valkyria Chronicles, and Tekken 6...

December Microsoft has The Tale of Despereaux vs. Sony's Afrika and The Agency.

Overall is close. It will be an expensive few months for owners of both systems.

As for 2009. Outside of exclusives Halo Wars and Splinter Cell Conviction (because they were delayed), Microsoft hasn't announced anything officially. They seem to be keeping the cards close to the chest like they did last year. So, to talk 2009 is a bit of a waste until they show up with their lineup. And I doubt Sony has shown their full 2009 list.

I'm really digging the PS3 lineup for '08 b/c of Resistance, Bioshock, LittleBigPlanet, Valkyria Chronicles, and Eternal Sonata. Of course if I had a 360, I would already be done with ES and Bioshock....

If it weren't for the sheer awesomeness and novelty of LBP, I'd hand it to the 360. As is, I'd say it's a tie.

For early '09, the PS3 is looking great. Killzone is sounding better and better everyday, and Infamous looks like a surprise hit. Combine Resident Evil 5 and you really can't go wrong with a PS3.

GOW and MAG don't have official release dates unlike Killzone and Infamous, which tells me neither are coming out in early '09, so I'm not going to comment on them.

Sony has more new content for both years and more compelling for me too, so I say SONY.

Fable I will pick up, but the first was very average. BK nuts and bolts and Gears 2 I will pick up also on the 360, but that's it.

From Sony I will grab; LBP, R2, White Knight Story, Valkyria Chronicals, KZ2, God Of War 3, Infamus, MAG, The Agencey, Siren, HEAVY RAIN and FF13 Ver. Wow, SOOOOOO many!

I like the PS3 lineup better because most of the 360's lineup comes sooner or later to PC.

Well, going by Onyxmeth's list, I can't really choose between them :(

That doesn't make 360's lineup less viable because those games the PS3 will not get.

1. I don't think it's really coming out this year, but it's still penned for a 2008 release so I listed it there.

2. I didn't see that update. I'll add Left 4 Dead back in.
