Actually MS fiscal quarters are pretty common. I have lots of clients (large companies) that have same fiscal quarters.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

My understanding is that cost is not reflected in the quarter result.
The only cost related to the acquisition is a 24 Million $ charge for development related expenses due to Danger.

Holy crap, MS is down 6% in after hours. To give you an idea of how much loss in value that is, it's about a third of the total market value of Sony. Google doing even worse.
