I really dont care because i still get to play it on my ps3 and the only thing that im mad about is that i have to wait longer for it now.

The people who said 'FF totally sucks now the old games were good and since it went on Ps they all sucked.
After the MS conference:  The same guys don't want to buy a PS3 anymore because FF XIII is also on Xbox 360...I thought FF sucked?       <=  Those are the most pathetic people around here.  (You see those kind of people alot on forums now).

What did you think of Lost Odyssey and which of the upcoming PS360 JRPGs are you getting?

For one console owners and future one console owners, its a big change but yea, for PS360 owners, the news mean jack. Its safe to say its rare to find PS360 owners though.

I didnt bother with FF11 and FF12 myself. But FF8-10 are as awesome as FF7 to me.

I've never really been into final fantasy but I thought i'd give it a try because it's was a ps3 exclusive , i'll still give it a try because the gameplay vids look amazing.

Brand loyalty is retarded. Buy games that are good, regardless of what system they are on, or risk losing future development of those games because you effectively failed to vote with your dollar.

Personally I'm not interested in FFXIII either, but not because I'm some sony fanboy, it's just because the series has been mediocre since FFVII, and pure garbage since FFX. Call ME old fashioned, but none of their games have lived up to the greatness of FFIV or FFVI

I have no hopes for this one, but if it does turn out to be good, I would of course buy it regardless of my intense dislike of their current games. Spiting yourself is never a good thing

 Oh I'm not writing it off.  I'm not saying its going to be a bad game.  I'm saying I'm done with SE and all their new ideas.  FFXIII could turn out to be amazing - and if so, its unfortunate that I'll miss that.  I just can't jump back on their bandwagon for one game when the next is going to turn me off again completely.  And if the next doesn't, the one after surely will.

Sansui hit the nail on the head.

If a game is good, it's a good game.  Buy it and enjoy it.  Not buying a good game because you're afraid the company that makes it may make a bad game in the future sounds pretty silly.
