LOL. Not only did you make a baseless prediction on a feature Bungie would have in an unnanounced game, but then made a negative sarcastic comment about said fictional feature.

You obviously haven't played alota shooters ten , Halo kills about every game advertising/promotion wise that's why it's able to kill sales wise. |
No not that many. Approximately 150 FPS and TPS
I hope they freshen up the graphics,gameplay and overall feel to the game. I might be the only guy in the world but i just played the game co-op with a friend and i dont see what's so special about it :S Its not fun enough for me to be entertained longer then half a hour or so. So id much rather like them to spice things up a bit instead of adding more players.
@Million
Don't even try to argue Halo is not one of the best fps games ever made, I know so much more about competitive fps games than you I could write a book on the competitive nuances of the halo games.
Before trying to act like the cool kid just for the sake of going against the crowd do some research. Here I'll even get you started go to mlgpro.com and read up on Halo 1, I'm sure you will find it interesting.

Eh.
I think Halo, for what it has done isn't the most inventive, or best, by any means.
But what Halo has done is transcend what normal FPS games do, and that's have longevity, and an actual player base.
Not many games are out there (on consoles) that you can go out, pick up a copy of 3 years after it's out, and find a good, thriving online community.
I mean, Goldeneye never really did anything "OMG AMAZINGZ" and is an old throwback to poor FPS concepts. Yet at the same time, it's very beloved. Not for it's innovation, but the fact that everyone played it, and thrived off of what was there.
And again, good example - GTAIV. XBL reports that Halo3 has surpassed GTAIV for 2nd most played game on XBL. Despite GTAIV selling 5m+ copies, MGC reports that twice as many people play H3 online. Amazing.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I know what your saying mr.stickball Halo isn't one of the best shooters because of innovation, it's one of the best because bungie made it so malleable its possible to approach the game from any angle and find something enjoyable waiting for you.
If your a casual fan Halo is very easy to jump into, if you want story there is an amazing universe fleshed out through the courses of the games and books that add to this. For artist and machinimators theres theatre mode which is yet to be replicated by any console fps. For the people who love to build bungie included forge and yes it isn't amazing compared to anything on PC but a simple search can reveal the amazing maps people have created even with these limitations.
I could go on but my point is that people have become so obsessed with hating on Halo for whatever reason they find it convenient to ignore the most amazing aspects of halo. Theres a reason why theres usually 100,000 people on at any given time on Halo 3.

I think in Co-op, those two worthless Elites you play as get named. Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Doo. Just kidding they aren't worthless.
I for one am really looking forward to what Bungie will have up their sleeves with this project.
