she said that because she knows nothing that nintnedo has up it's sleeve...seriously, either you're anti-nintendo or completely stupid ^_^ like Cammie |
Please, stop the spin. She is a highly paid executive whose job it is to know what Nintendo is doing.
HappySqurriel,
She worked for Yahoo in their marketing department for years. Trust me she has all the experience and the qualifications for the job. Her problem is that she is new to being on stage and interviewed on the spot. She will get better as time goes by.

If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba
They should get Capcom's Cammie along side her. So then you get business and beauty, something like All In Jimmy's Head or whatever that's called.

Well, working within a marketing department and being a major public figure for a large corporation (in particular one that gets the public scrutiny that Nintendo receives) are two very different things ... Basically, I agree that she will probably get better, but I still think her answers were just awful.
I didn't get to see Nintendo's E3 conference live. From the way everybody was talking about her, I was expecting Cruella de Vil or something... I don't think she's too bad--maybe a 6 or 7 on my MILF-ometer.
And here's to you Mrs. Dunaway.
The whole press confrence came off too... "Inspirational Speaker in the Auditorium of a highschool."
I half expected them to go into an improv comedy act. I guess them playing some of the Wiisports games kinda counted.

She wasn't very popular at the conference for sure, everything she did/said came off very over-the-top and phony.
She sounded very much like she didn't want to answer the storage issue question. IMO she should have said that Nintendo has its plate full striving to provide unique expierences to a broad audiance, and a storage solution is coming down the road. Then point to Wii speak as sign that Nintendo is addressing core gamers needs.
