I guess there is always the option of buying a 500 dollar Blu-Ray disc player for those that don't want to get up 3 times during their 60 hour game.

its not a 500$ bluray player at all, its a games machine with built in bluray player and built in wireless, that just happens to be shifting more sales somehow than a certain games machine with a built in dvd player, even with a higher price point.

i doubt gametrailers will do comparison video on ff13 its obvious the 360 port will have to be jerked down a bit to fit on dvd`s

Cause we all know in the past, how the PS3 versions of multiplats have been far superior, with shorter loading times, better graphics, and no mandatory installs.

some ps3 multiplats have been better that was lead developed on ps3, only reason(and you know it) that some of the 360 multiplats were of higher quality is simply because of lead developing on 360 and making lazy ports to ps3(only fanboys say otherwise). many other games are now leading on ps3 eg, dice, new ghost busters game and that new star wars game. some games do in fact have shorter load times, gta4 and oblivion for example. plus games like burnout and oblivion even had better grafix. re: mandotory installs, if it makes the game better then thats a big plus, dmc4 has almost cartridge like load times.

So who makes decisions on Multi-Platformness?

The reason I ask is because the Director of FFVsXIII is Tetsuya Nomura and, correct me if I am wrong, he likes developing games with only one platform in mind. Also, I believe he has only ever worked with a Sony system.

Nomura has worked on Nintendo DS as well. It´s managers and their leading team of developers that make these decisions I would assume, backed up indirectly by their superiors and eventually stakeholders.
