Unfortunately Life1 only brings you back with 25% health. You would also need Versus so it would throw in a Curaga afterwards.

As far as HD-DVD it's NOT a movie format only it's a MEDIA format, it was used for movies but you can still use it to burn info on etc and it's actually cheaper to buy the drives than Blu-ray for your PC. The Format could still be used fine, I wouldn't buy an HD-DVD movie player though..

on FF13 reviving it, don't count on it, they want to sell as many games as possible they will make it on DVD as most people don't have the HD-DVD add on and SE has no buisnes trying to change that.

There is no current way to use the HD-DVD format for game storage on the 360. The add-on is for movie reading purposes only, and its been discontinued.
