i didnt like resistance at all, and i loved gears.

from what ive seen so far gears 2 remind me of the first one, and resistance 2 looks to have alot more going for it.

I think gears will do much better. I have the PS3 and I dunno im still not impressed with R2 it just didnt feel that great of a game watching the gameplay, and i didnt much enjoy the first one. But im basing this just off the trailers, I havent played gears but it just seems better.

No contest: GoW2

G2 will probably sell more but I'm about 10x more interested in R2.

both will win. for those who have both consoles, both games will be bought. for those who have just one, they will buy just the one. Both games are equally hyped up and have to live up to the former game. GoW has a hell of a lot more to live up to then RFOM. RFOM was pretty average in terms of graphics and innovation. However R2 seems to have made a lot of changes since then and pushed it forward in every way since RFOM.

Both games will do well and be winners.

After E3 footage, both graphics and gameplay go to gears easily. The gameplay has far more to it and the graphics speak for themselves.

Gears, although I like R2 far more.

Resistance 2 is looking a LOT better than the first piece of crap they called a game, but GeoW2 will still sell twice as much and probably review higher as well
