bleh, there are too many big competitors for this game to survive at a price point like that. Guitar Hero 3, Boogie, Signstar, etc. etc. This game will flop and flop big.

Do you have any idea how much real instruments cost? I think if you went to Sam Ash, you would have a heart attack.

That really doesn't seem like a bad price - I've spent more than that on Guitar Hero I, II, and two wireless guitars. So it's in the same general ballpark.
the problem is that it's going against Guitar Hero 3... you can buy Rock Band for $200 or Guitar Hero 3 for $99 (or is it $129?)

$99 for PS360 and $89 for Wii.
ROCKBAND sounds fun but at $200 theres so many other games i want this year.
You can get a real student guitar for less than $200 bucks.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Don't know what the other guys are complaining about. If you bought the bundles for Guitar Hero 1 and 2 then you would have spent $160 right?
At $60 you can get Rock Band and use the Guitar Hero controllers and you'll get a better game than Guitar Hero 3 from what I've seen so far of both games (song lists and a few videos).
Interesting that the PS3 guitar is $20 cheaper. I never bought my 2nd guitar so that might be a good choice for me since they are adding frets (but again, it's backwards compatible so I think you'll be able to enjoy it to the max of guitar hero's experience with the old guitars).
I'd like to see USB/bluetooth mic support, unless there is something special about this mic. It can't be better than the Playstation Eye's mic, which would be a great combo with this game. Guess we'll find out eventually.
I think some of the instruments could be a little cheaper individually, though. I think $50 or less would be better. If I used the Eye and a Guitar Hero guitar, I'd still spend $200 getting the drums, game, and 2nd guitar.
