Yes, but there are other things to consider, such as progression. Obviously if the gameplay is not very good, it is not a good sign, though obviously something like BiA is something that will take longer to get into

by that logic, most RPG's are the worst pieces of junk ever.

Too often games start well and fade in the backstretch, I want a game that becomes more rewarding the longer I play it. If people are too impatient to go through a slow beginning for a big pay-off, that is there loss.

I based my opinion on the games I mainly play are shooters, racers or fighting game. 6 out of 10 of this list are shooters. You can tell straight away with a shooter or racing game. You get into the game straight away.

fair enough,

but this is where I cite Gears of War again, the game got less fun as I went along to the point of tedious.

Everytihng they said that was wrong with KZ2 was wrong with the first. Maybe Guirella have learnt nothing?

I thought Spore had an amazing presentation at E3. Will Wright was a master in showing off his game to the crowd.
