The first 10 minutes can be make or break regarding playing a game. You either like a game straight away or you think it sucks. But everyone has different tastes and opinions and different genres of game would make a difference.

A game with good game play and graphics and keeps your interest you can tell straight away.

 

 

by that logic, most RPG's are the worst pieces of junk ever.

Too often games start well and fade in the backstretch, I want a game that becomes more rewarding the longer I play it. If people are too impatient to go through a slow beginning for a big pay-off, that is there loss.

I based my opinion on the games I mainly play are shooters, racers or fighting game. 6 out of 10 of this list are shooters. You can tell straight away with a shooter or racing game. You get into the game straight away.

but this is where I cite Gears of War again, the game got less fun as I went along to the point of tedious.
