Forums - Sales - Maybe we shouldn't bash Ubisoft.

Those are top games for girls. Why should it depress you to see games that cater for a different audience having a top ten?

Nah, it's top ten 3rd party DS franchises. The "Games for Girls" title is just emphasising how well Ubisoft franchises targeted at girls are performing in the top ten. There are franchises by other companies in the top ten which aren't specifically targeted at girls.

Well, I am disappointed in the fact that they have delayed HAWX, I was really looking forwards to it

the same argument I'm about to present was inspired by Nintendo fans in defend of Nintendo e3. "They are companies, they are out to make money".

The same response I'm about to present was inspired by Sony fans in response to FFXIII going multiplat.

"WTF DIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE HOW DARE YOU, PETITION!"

Just as relevant going by your logic.

I am drawing a different conclusion that most people from the chart.

I see it as overall third-party brand revenue producers so far in 2008 on the DS. The Games for Girls refers not that sales are to girls but rather that many of these brands are marketed to players who are not males.

And it means that Ubi is raking in cash on its casual brands.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

Sounding like old geezers, games are changing and there's room for all kinds of games. I hope after a few years people start getting with the times and not make a big deal of these games.

what depresses me more is that people actually buy this crap. i don't mind them making casual games, if they would at least try to make them with a little more quality, like nintendogs quality or something.

come try out the computer game i've been working on for my high school senior project, titled sling ball. http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=47568
