Forums - Nintendo - So E3 is not about having fun, just wowing us.

Actually worded properly lost potential customers.

Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

Around the Network

wow... just...wow!

Okay, looking over the OP, I see it's not that clear.

I don't mean any of their games, or anyone else. I just meant how they were genuinely having fun showing off the game, and people act as though this was a moment of shame, while a guy in another presentation just tells people he's excited, and it's treated as awesome.

See the problem with people preferring telling over showing?

It just seemed people didn't want a genuine demonstration of how games would be good. They just wanted a bunch of applause generating announcements.

That and what JiaJia stated.

Ahh then you need to go to the DGT thread "(Nintendo) Fun is killing the Industry"...

Fun is killing the industry

I agree that at some point people is starting to react and show off why the industry really need to become a better place for everyone, the so called hardcore gamer is really small compared witht the core and casual, and some part of this crowd are starting to behave like only the games that they like should be made, and the funny thing is that most of them are really young guys... I start to believe that they feel threatened like a child with a new born brother...

Oh, that is much better than what I'm doing... as long as that was a joke thread. If it was rol, it would be, but I'm not sure with this one.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
