I have noticed recently (past few weeks) that adding a table to a post results in incredibly odd things happening. I have tried to work with the oddities but it is starting to get on my nerves.

-Trying to highlight a specific column or row can be a nightmare with many attempts needed to get anywhere.

-It seems to be impossible to have 1 column right aligned and another left, they all have to be the same unless I do it cell by cell.

-I added a column to a table in my Nintendo Channel thread, and added some numbers part way down, intending to fill in the rest later, but when I post and click edit again, all the cells below the last entered data have dissapeared. (I deleted the cell and started again but it has done it again)

-spaces don't seem to register at the start of a sentence, I resorted to adding another column (I wanted the spaces because I couldn't left align the game titles in the left column... and I was trying to seperate column 1 and 2) and then putting a '-' in to stop that column disappearing.

Has anyone else got problems like these, they are incredibly frustrating.

I noticed it too, I tried to use tables a few times but in the end just gave up. :p

^It's fine when you first enter things... the problems arise when you try to highlight things or if you leave blank cells before editing.

Good point.. neither do I (without pressing quote).

If I have ever had multiple quotes I just make a white backgrounded box... I don't know how to add the "teeth" border.

Yes, I have had similar problems, but because I keep my tables in excel, I just end up deleting the one on chartz and re-pasting it.

I also use the extra columns instead of using left/right justify.
