Yeah, I am pulling for High Voltage. They have spent the last decade making games they hate (my words, not theirs). If this fails it's back to Nicktoon PS2 ports.

I might give Counduit a try, if I have the time at hand when it releases. But I have to be honest, I haven't been excited about a FPS since the original Half-Life, and I don't see or hear anything SO special about the Conduit that it would make me really excited about it. Still, it is excellent news that a 3rd party dev is putting on a good show for the Wii, and I hope that the Conduit will sell a lot. But if Wii would get a new MDK, now that would be awesome and a must buy for me :)

Edit: Also, WTF is up with the publishers? Crap it out? If there ever was a reason to shun a publisher, that would be it.

This is their dream, I can't wait to play it.

Showing this in action at the Nintendo conference would of given High Voltage the exposure it needs and would of also assured the "Veteran gamer" that there were top class 3rd party games for the Wii.

I agree that EA is the best publisher that the Conduit could get...you have to admit they are great at advertising.

Nice read. I am going to get the game if the review is good (> 80% metacritic).
When I read about the crap it out publisher, my first reaction is Ubisoft .. haha anyone?

if the game is as good as they are implying then i hope it sells really well, and proves to other 3rd party devs that putting effort into a wii game pays off. red steel was a million seller so there's no reason this can't be, with the right advertising.

My intention when asking this question was because I was wondering why anyone would care about the graphical potential of the Wii when the PS3 , XBOX 360 & PC exist.


I obviously don't understand anything according to Faxan so I asked , I did respond in context.

this game is sounding great

@million--i care about the graphics b/c i want a great FPS, and while other systems offer good ones the controls are crap compared to what you can get from teh wii...so i want to be able to control and be eye candyfied insted of just having bleeding eyes and ho hum controls
