Forums - Microsoft - Now Microsoft has won E3, will they get a Sony-like boost?

360 will get a boost in July and August that because of clearance of 20GB HDD. PS3 sales will slow in July and August because of 80GB SKU replacing 40GB SKU in September (Why did they announce that..They are just asking for the public to wait).

As for E3 showing this will ultimatly help the 360. 360 did have a better conference than PS3. I believe the only game showcased for the 360 that releases post 2008 was RE5. MAG will be like Home. Something we will see over the next couple of years and wonder if it ever will come out. The FFXIII effect is to tell everyone except people in Japan that the console for RPG's (JRPGs and others) is the 360. Until the MS conference some people would still say the King of JRPGs was coming to PS3 only. Not any more. So honestly other than Japan PS3 doesnt have any game that could seriously have any effect until GT5. MS also made a good showing for the casual crowd. If "Your in the Movies" had been called "Wii Movies" the Nintendo faithful would be proclaiming it the 2nd coming. Sony didnt do anything in thier presentation around casuals.

Well then how do you win E3 in your opinion? Sales? If so... how much you wanna be Wii Motion plus outsells MAG or any other announced product?

Seriously, how do you when E3... when Sony didn't win the perception of the hardcore gaming crowd... and didn't announce the game that will have the best sales.

I'm also quite interested in seeing this "overwhleming majority".

Some posters here have even posted links showing how sources such as EDGE actually gave E3 to Sony.

Edge = Shooter fanboys. They didn't even mention Final Fantasy 13. Did they leave early?

Regardless if your using the press as your example. Then Sony didn't win E3 last year.

Still waiting for your opinion on what = E3 win.

Edge gave Sony credit because Trenton was unintentionally funny.

The Yahoo guy didn't even know that God of War 3 was already announced... or DC universe. He was just clueless.

EDGE also did not even mention the FFXIII annoucement.  Edge also gave Sony points for PSP. 

He also gave negative note for the 360 that in the Lips trailer MS chose to use a Zune to import music.  To criticize for that is just plain stupid.

Looking at it from just the Wii versus PS3 versus 360 aspect of the conferences clearly the 360 was the winner.
