I hope this is a port. Then it will answer how well the Wii can handle HD games, at least the first year ones.

If it can handle it well, would RE5 be next?



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

July 16, 2008 - And the string of old games Capcom is porting to the Wii continues. Dead Rising, the Xbox 360 zombie fest, is being repackaged for the Wii. This follows remakes Resident Evil 4 and Okami. Dead Rising Wii appears to be a direct port of the existing game, not something new (and, mercifully, not a mini-game collection with waggle brain devouring).

For the moment, all we have to go on are these scans from the latest issue of Famitsu, by way of blog Wii @ Everyday. We'll have more info soon.

it defiantly is a favourite, have you no been paying attention?? there crowds out there that hold a very high regard to this game (like me)

Well, it's not like all the "intelligent" gamers out there have already got the 360 version of this game. Same goes for RE4 on the Wii.

Since the beginning of time, whenever anybody asked "What 360 games do you wish you could play?" or something to that effect, I've always said Geometry Wars and Dead Rising. Looks like I'll have both now. MWAHAHAHA.

- RE4 Wii sold well so Capcom is porting DR
- As much as possible Capcom will match the 360 look. - Is taking into mind casual gamers' needs
- Playable w/ Wiimote and nunchuck. There are waggle atacks similar to RE4 Wii.
- Wii version's camera is similar to RE4 (camera remains behind West's back).
- New aiming system
- New boss characters
- New submissions
- Some weapon changes / additions
- Can't announce all changes now
