well after these teams are free there gonna help the FFXIII team to try to release it as early as possible and then work on versus XIII.

Because until there biggest projects are completed, they really can't take up other large development.
FF13 may hopefully arrive next year, but we don't have a solid idea as to exact date. The FF could take 'till 2010, hopefully not 2100...

The earlier the better for FF 13...
As for the SE projects do you mean the ones actually developed by the comnpany or ones they publish?

But yeah, once a team is free they can move on to the next one. As current projects are released more will be announced.

1. SE has moved lots of resources to FFXIII, to speed it up. (from the SE presser)
2. SE is trying to cut costs and focus on finishing Crystal Tools and are using an external engine.
3. They are already working on an s*load of games

Have they released any games on a next gen console besides the Wii, and no, we are not counting that Project Sylpheed or whatever it was on the 360 (shitty space shooter that failed in every market)?

The really funny thing about this is that Square-Enix out sources more than half of all their games. If you think about it, they dont really do all that much in house anymore, here is a list:

Yes, you are right.  They probably have 2 dozen games in preproduction that 6-12 will get the green light once the other games get released.

Do not expect DQIX, FFXIII, FF:CC:CB or FFversusXIII any time soon.

FF13 should be out soon...
You just mentioned that development has extra focus now to speed it up...

Lastly, FF is one of their biggest series, they need for it to make an appearance soon and not at the genration's end...
