OK so I can agree on some level about the conference and being slightly dissappointed, but why should we be?

It seems everyone is crying cause there were no hardcore announcments.

Well stop crying cause they are coming, its just Nintendo didn't hoodwink us with a video. Hell Nintendo could of shown SMG2, ZeldaWii2, ZeldaDS2 and Pikmin video and Nintendo would of won E3. Its a fine line and Im not sure how GOW3 trailer and a FF13 (the xbox version does not even exist yet, it was the sony trailer) multi platform announcement via a video we have already seen wins you the show. Neither of those games will have more of an impact on gaming then WiiMotionPlus.

We as Nintendo fans, the hardcore ones that stuck with Nintendo through the GC days have nothing to worry about, we have finally got Online play and now in game voice chatting, and its clearly better then the competitions and allows conference like game chatting.

We have Motionplus that just opens up not 1 new door, but thousands of new possibilities in player to onscreen actions.

Nintedo is on top, the DS is on top, the Wii is on top, the Wii is now the one true next generation console(if it ever wasn't) and the hardcore games will come. As a game developer myself Im more excited to make Wii hardcore games then on any other console.

So please stop crying Nintendo is in the best position it has ever been in, period :)

Somehow I don't think Nintendo fans who were whinning care about "plausible" evidence of a game during E3.

It's announcement time, not speculation time. And I suppose based on reaction, Nintendo didn't deliver... at least according to so-called "core" gamers.

There was much more whining/crying about a certain game coming to another certain console instead of just one certain console, and everyone was making far-fetched speculations about that certain console dying in a couple of years... o_o



Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

it's a huge difference between the gaming direction your own console maker is going... vs a third-party game decided to go Multi.

I don't have a Job yet, Im still doing my Internship. However, Im well into Development of a GreenHouse carbon Emmisions game (RCT meets Sim city) called Project G.R.E.N.E that will be shown at this years GCAP (Game Conference Asia Pacific).

So come early next year I'll be able to answer that question better :)

I don't know. I think the new Zelda, and FFXIII will be releasing very close together. Just because nintendo didn't show it, doesn't mean its not in developement, and Miyamoto already admited it was.

I hope you realise there is no confirmed date for FF13, its not even close to a JAP release, meaning it will be 1 - 2 years before you play it. I see the next Zelda and Mario, close, or even out before this time.

The conference sucked.  Nintendo always delivers good games.  As Dr. Phil says the best indication of future behavior is past behavior.

 

I'm really only half joking.

 

But you are right, I don't see why they couldn't announce one 2009 tidbit.
