Maybe Bungies announcement would of sucked compared to the FFXIII announcement so they canceled it.

Guys, that has to be a hack. There is no way Bungie would take down there entire site (there are no links on that page), just to announce that they are not releasing a game.
EDIT: I take that back, there is one link, that takes you to there page... looks real :(

ya, it seems a lot of companies decided against announcing major info. Motorstorm 2 was supposed to get a solid release date, Resistance 2 get a release date, Crysis: Warhead was supposed to be shown at E3's press event, Bungie was supposed to announce their title, Forza was supposed to be there, Sony missed the rear end of what was supposed to happen, Activision announced nothing so far, and Blizzard was supposed to do a demo for tomorrow for Diablo 3 which is most likely not happening.
Why is all of this stuff being pulled?
@ssj12: What happened? Everybody decided E3 was bush league and wasn't worth their A-game?
