Forums - Sony Discussion - Why Sony's E3 conference was pretty lackluster in terms of Japanese support

Please, please, please make Star Ocean: The Last Hope multi-platform. T_T

I'm sure it will be announced eventually.  That and Tales of Vesperia.

@ makingmusic

that's one you don't really want. The 360 demo sucked so hard.

This is what I have been saying all along too. it has been very weird living in Japan and seeing more western games on the PS3 here than Japanese, that's for sure! Especially compared to the PS2 and 1.

It is very obvious why it is only selling ok here and that is cause of the lack of home grown software.

Siren just got released here and it has sold out in most places. This is what we need more of, crazy Japanese games and I believe too that we are going to see an influx very soon. Maybe at TGS, maybe at a Sony show, but one thing is for sure, they are comming.

TOP 12: Deus Ex, Shadow Man, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturn, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Metroid Prime, Zelda (series), Uncharted (series), FF Tactics, Persona (series), Demons Souls, Vagrant Story.

MOST WANTED: Deus Ex: Human Revolution, The Last Guardian, ICO/Shadow OTC HD

I think also, that Sony has really pushed western games since launch, as they know that the western audiance is bigger. Now that they have ample in this area, they will focuss hard on Japan, where M$ has been attacking recently.

So, expect more Jrpg's and qirky Japanese games. and, definitely expect to hear some big, new announcements at Leipzig and TGS, this goes without saying really.

In other words: Why pimp Japanese games at an American conference?

Japanese games actually sell well in America.  Now revealing a Western game at a Japanese trade show is wierd

 That would be funny.

And now coming to Japan in 2009 ....... MAG! I can't imagine the faces in the crowd if that was revealed at TGS.
