Forums - Microsoft - Adam Sessler and Kevin P Call E3 for Microsoft on G4TV

Also, Kevin is a MS fanboy, but Morgan isn't, and Adam is about as unbiased as they come. He loves LBP. I'm sure he was dissapointed in all the shows, and chose the MS conference for the obvious reason, FFXIII announcement.

Morgan is an undercover Nintendo Fangirl. That's true.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Does seem like a weak E3 so either MS or PS winning is up in the air for this E3.

Even though I kinda like G4, they are fully an xbox fan-channel. I actually think Morgan doesn't like the Wii that much... and Olivia could give a crap about anything with games.

MS did win, as soon as everyone accepts this....the easier it will be. Lets let this sites management determine a winner, since they were in attendance.

Personally, I think all console owners won, cause we the (Gamers) have new stuff to get excited about!!!

Like has been said before MS showed 0 new hardcore games they show 2 multiplatform hardcore games,

They had a new Xbox 360 hardcore title, for 360 owners to enjoy. It was FFXIII. Not only did it boulster the library of the 360 in major ways, but it all heralded 360's dominance of the JRPG market, and embarassed Sony and their fans.

If making fanboys cry themselves to sleep and switch sides doesn't beat a wargame MMO and a bunch of games from two years ago, then I don't know what this world is coming to.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

He separated hardcore and multiplatform hardcore games, FFXIII is a multi. I think FFXIII will still sell more for PS3 because of Japan and xbox mostly just commands an NA domination over the PS3.

Their dominance over the JRPG genre is tenuous at best considering its pretty much all timed exclusivity. You will be able to get solid JRPG games on the PS3 starting this Fall with Valkyria Chronicles (exclusive), Disgaea (exclusive), and Eternal Sonata. Early next year, the PS3 will get the Last Remnant. The 360 does have Tales and Infinite Undiscovery, but the point is that it appears Sony and MS are sharing the JRPG throne just like every other genre. The only thing MS has won is the allegiance of the most hardcore JRPG gamers, which you can't honestly say is a huge segment of the population.

My Top 5:

Shadow of the Colossus, Metal Gear Solid 3, Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Chrono Trigger

My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.

What's the prize for "winning"?

what did sony show? just god of war 3 fmv (no actual gameplay OR a release date, hardly impressive)

microsoft got FFXIII and could easily have won some new pc fans by getting portal 2 aswell..... microsoft OWNED sony at this E3

Sony showed a bunch of games we already knew about and two CGI trailers because frankly their fans are a bunch of dumbasses that have been falling for CGI footage for well over a dozen years now. I can't blame them, if you can continually feed crap to you fan base and they'd take it, it stops being your fault and starts being theirs. I mean how many years has it been since KZ2 and FFXIII's "in game" aka CGI footage was heralded by Sony fanboys? Three years, actually more than three years because E3 was still held in May in 2005.

I liked Sony's the most will MS's second. G4 seems bias in favor of MS.
