IMO Nintendo just lost all the remaining admiration I had for them. They didn't announce any core Nintendo titles. For some odd reason I thought Nintendo was going to announce games that would please their core base (perhaps because Reggie said so?). I didn't get any of the key Nintendo franchises such as Kid Icarus, Zelda, Pikmin 3, Earthbound, Golden Sun, Pilotwings, F-Zero, Metroid, Star Fox, Donkey Kong or Punch-out. Neither did I get any new IPs for core gamers. I am highly disapointed. Okay, to be fair I'm sure the Zelda and Mario teams and Retro Studios are working on something right now but you think that it would still be enough to feed their core base? Still it's not like Nintendo needs gamers like myself anymore as they got the masses of casuals feeding them money.

As soon as PS3 dips below the $300 price point, I think I am going to purchase one. No longer would have to wait every 4 months for a good core game.

Dude, you know they're making these games. So just because they didn't hype you up a year before a game is released you lost all respect for Nintendo?

It looks like Nintendo released all of their core titles too quickly and now they have nothing left that's near completion.

Owning one system is a mistake this generation if you spend any amount of time on your hobby, so you might as well get another anyway.

And what I said about waiting every 4 months, I was just being nice. I haven't played a good core game for the Wii (before Super Smash Bros) since last Summer and that was Metroid Prime 3. And no I don't consider No More Heroes a good core game. I thought it was very mediocre.

@Hyperion: How do you know they are making this games? That's what we thought before E3, still no one even remotely hinted at anything.

They could have at least named a few games, that doesn't hurt anyone. Or even future projects they will some day release.
