This year, third parties need to step up to the space Nintendo have left. I don't know how many hardcore games are coming out, but I'm sure there's something. It's a shame, I was expecting Pikmin and Zelda and ended up with nothing.

If last year's anything to go by (and I think it is) we'll see more stuff at the end of the week. I'm annoyed that I have to wait a little more to get my candy, but whachagonnado?
Well, that's good for you. You can wait months for your few core games (which are not even officially announced), while I can readily choose from hundreds of them on a HD console. I think I am going to sell my Wii and buy a PS3 to play games like Mirror's Edge and I am Live.
I only abandoned Nintendo because Nintendo abandoned me first.

I love the overdramatised act and hidden fanboyism...

you just made my day...
I even skip my job today to see the conference live.... I Still have hope for a surprise today and tomorrow... And I will buy Wii Music... seems like fun... The conference was ok... We had standards set to high... that was the problem... If not for FFXIII, I will say those were pretty even conferences...
Nintendo FTW...

Mmm, that will feel great after this :)
Speaking of numbers, its the day after Monday...
Granted, E3 does take up some attention and time.
Okami
To lavish praise upon this title, the assumption of a common plateau between player and game must be made. I won't open my unworthy mouth.

I second this. |
I fifth this.

I have been a Nintendo fan since 1986. Played and beat all their great franchises. NES, SNES, N64, and GC were all pretty good consoles in my opinion. Every month or 2 there would be at least one good core title to keep me satisified. Not with the Wii. I have been waiting for months and months for a good core title while I watch all these trailers for HD games that I see developers put all their creative energy and resources into. The buck has to stop somewhere. But like I said Nintendo doesn't need gamers like me anymore (otherwise they would have shown a little more love to us) they have the casuals to keep feeding their pockets.
I have been reading the same sentiments on numerous video game boards so it's just not me.
It's all good though. I am sure I can get a good price for my Wii on Ebay.
