FXIII exclusive DLC + GT5 jaw dropping gameplay to counter this ...

GoW3 comes out Spring 2009 IIRC. But FF XIII is still really big no matter how you spin it.

But again Megaton =/= Wininng E3.

People are also forgetting the PSP announcements.

Resistance PSP, LocoRoco 2, Patapon 2, downloading Movies to your PSP. Crazy good announcements.

And people are forgetting PSN games too. Ratchet and Clank: Quest For Booty among others.

They stole the frigging exclusivity of PS3's most important game. You can damage control all you want, but that ALONE is enough to win E3.

Besides that the Netflix deal is enormous. Gears of War 2 was at least equal to Resistance 2.

That was the most talked/hyped thing. Isn't winning E3 about gaining the most hype?

Yeah, MS got the most hype for a game that won't see the light of day for Years at least.  Sure to really help them in the short run.  A game coming out nowhere in the near future.

Again I pose the question: did MS win in 06 when they stole GTA IV? No, we can all agree that Nintendo won that year. So there goes that idea.
Actually as I posted before M$ won 2006 according to lots of sources(Ign roundtable is still viewable for 06) because of GEOW1. That playable demo knocked everyone for six.

I would say microsoft but FFXIII is also coming to the ps3 aswell, so with playable games the ps3 but with overall e3 effect microsoft

after 2 or 3 years i will think of buying a ps3 because now its not worth it.

I'll make this bet with you, GoW3 will be out before the 360 version of FF13, the winner gets to pick the other users Avatar for 1month and the loser must proclaim in their SiG that the other user is better then them in everyway for one year.

- 256 people online in 1 game = HUGE   Donnybrook is over 256...

Huh? Is the video store on PSN more expensive? I could have sworn they were nearly identical. Plus you have the option of purshing on the PS store (Which I don't think I'd ever do).

Yeah, Sony won all right. :( (Sorry but I'm depressed. I posted earlier why... there's now internet sales on top of that)



Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

That's not true. Megatons generate the most hype which is what winning E3 is about. Most of Sony's announcements were either expected and/or don't stand a chance against FF XIII.

Wow.  some people can just not give Sony their props. 

It's a damn shame that people just can't get over the fact that Sony came back strong after yesterday.  Oh well, everyone can continue arguing this stupid point, G4's coverage of the show floor is starting in 1/2 an hour, and I can't wait to see some more Resistance 2 footage.

I think sony won purely because of the impressive psp lineup and how you can transfer movies from psstore to psp. Microsoft Blows.
