I believe that Nintendo does not go to TGS. But they will be at E for All...
Former something....
To those bringing up past games including TP that shows Nintendo hyping games, wasn't the main reason they said they won't hype games anymore because of TP.
They felt they hyped it for too long and it eventually moved into a Wii release which upset people who had been waiting for years for it on GC, only to make it on both consoles.

Wario Land, Fatal Frame, Kirby...basically, any game revealed after April, when we got this.
"When we prepared the Wii software lineup from the end of last year to the first half of this year, we were very conscious of the fact that we had to make a strong enough lineup in order to expand the Wii platform install base. Of course, we are preparing for a variety of software for the latter half of this year. However, we are now feeling that the speed at which new information is consumed and made obsolete has become quicker than ever. When I think of today’s situation as a consumer, when I am exposed to new information too early on, I find that I am already tired of it when the product is launched. This is one of the reasons why we would like to keep news at bay until we really have to disclose them."
To bad they didn't always have that policy though.
Boycotting the following:
1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.
2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.
3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.
4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games. If that were the case they'd own a PS3.
5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.
6. Boycotts: Their so lame.
Recently (I believe it was TGS 2007 IIRC) Nintendo stated that they felt that they didn't want to continue announcing games (and release a lot of information) years in advance, and they wanted to wait until games were closer to release ... Since then Nintendo has (practically) had surprise releases of games by announcing a game would be released only a couple of months before it was released (see: Mario Kart).
It's hard to say why they choose this strategy, but I suspect it allows them to focus their marketing efforts towards games that are currently in the pipeline (and therefore receive higher sales) than to focus on games that may not be released for several years.
While it is true they no longer announce games until close to release not
having one major core first party game at E3 only serves to reinforce the
rumors that were flowing at the end of last year releasing Mario Kart, Galaxy,
and Smash Bros. so close together will leave them with a large hole in their
lineup and nothing to fill it. Even a few teasers with no dates at the end would
have been better than nothing at all.
Thread debunked.
Wonder what's happening at the end of 2009.

QF Fucking T.
We all know they are working on Kid Icarus and other games. Why not tease us with them? That builds buzz and gets you a ton of free press. They especially needed more 3rd party games. The Conduit should have been shown live. That way you get a hopefully solid "mature" game mixed in with the "Wii" titles.
NoA really f'ed up in my opinion.

Care to explain, or did you just skip straight to the end?
