Mouse + Keyboard
For Current Generation
1. Xbox360 - Great Triggers, the most accurate analog sticks, d-pad kinda sucks
2. Gamecube - I just love how this feels in my hand. Love the click on the triggers too. Excellent Analog. Wonky button layout dose not work for all game styles
3. WiiMote - Motion controls work great but does not transfer well to all games
4. DualShock 3,2,1 - Horrible build quality. I have 4 DS2 pads and every single one had the motor mount break causing the weight to get stuck. I had to open each one and remove the broken mounts adn super glue the motor to the plastic. I really love the analog d-pad though. Not to fond of the triggers on the DS3, to easy for your finger to slip.
Worst Ever
1. Xbox - The worst game pad ever created!!! The jelly-bean buttons are so close together it might as well be one big button. What is surprising is that this controller works extremely well for Halo. It's like they designed the pad just for that game.
For me the gamecube had the greatest feel and lasting impression on me.
Honorable mention: Dreamcast Controller. The only controller yet with 16 directions on the joystick.
A major advancement in my opinion.
"Let justice be done though the heavens fall." - Jim Garrison
"Ask not your horse, if ye should ride into battle" - myself
360 controller followed by GameCube. PS3 controller just is too small for me and it hurts my wrists - I have Hulk hands

I liked this 15 million dollar simulator I got to play with once, that was a very nice controller.
Aside from that.. I agree with Shio. :)
Best
1. The Dualshock 2
2. Sega Genesis
3. Wiimote and Nunchuck
4. Gamecube
5. Sega Dreamcast w/ VMU (FTW)
WORST
Atari 5200 (Facepalm)
Kickin' Those Games Old School. - 201 Beaten Games And Counting

Dualshock 3. Best D-pad in the business. Which is essential for Tekken Juggles ;)
