It may not because I think Sony actually had a deal WRT MGS4. It won't make sense to bundle it and advertise it otherwise because Sony is not known to advertise 3rd party games la lot et alone multiplats and bundling a timed exclusive makes no sense. Except Konami refunds Sony their balance for having no royalty fees and bundling to help them sell, it may not come to 360.

That said, I won't be surprised if a miracle happened and M$ anoounced MGS4 360 during the next show. After FFXIII, I can take anything. Still sticking to my PS3 till the end though. I have too much of a backlog to ignore.

Actually with the new rip game to hard drive, I think this will not be so bad for MGS4 or FF13.  They will need to install the full game and then just have to keep the one disc in.

On a serious note , no one knows for sure the terms of MGS4's exclusivity , wether a port to the 360 would be worthwhile or even possible without serious degrade. I guess 10 disc MGS4 is going to become a reality.
How come you are never around to dispute the trustworthyness of the source when people pull out biased and FUD ridden opinion articles bashing on MS and the 360? If you want I'll link some of them here so you can voice your opinion against poor posting practices, judging by the post of yours I just quoted it would appear it's an issue you care about.
Firstly I never rejected the possibility of what the article was claimming , I just recejected the credibility of the article which I think is a very valid thing to do . I think your commenting on me posting in threads analysing Microsft/XBOX 360's current /future performance , that's entirely different the credibility of the soruce isn't as important as the quality of the analysis.
So that's you saying that the credibility of the source doesn't matter when an article bashes out the 360, it's merely enough if the spin is well constructed. That's cool of you to be honest like that.

Look, there's nothing to indicate that this "highly placed source" isn't just spouting his opinion on what is likely to happen based on trends and market forces visible to everyone, rather than leaking true insider information. In that case, this whole thread is the victim of the "appeal to authority" fallacy, which isn't true of the threads you're accusing Million of not criticizing similarly.

I remember there was a photo taken inside Kojima Productions which had an X360 on top of a desk, with Kojima himself passing by. Could anyone repost the photo please?

 The 360 was there so that the team could play Gears or Halo to build on the shooting mechanics of MGS4, that was the excuse Ryan Payton gave out.

i have realised one thing about this website; it creates and helps spread a lot of opinions and rumours (mostly from fanboys). In the real world, things are very different.

If you make a list of facts based around MGS4 and SONY, logic will tell you it won't happen unless Santa Clause (MS) drops by Konami and deposits some ludicrous amount of money (now this is believable) and asks nicely for a MGS4 port.

I think it will probably come to the 360 for a number of reasons. Firstly, the install base of the 360 is 5m-6m larger then the PS3. Secondly, 360 owners will buy the game as their attach rate and wanting for the game suggest. Lastly, I don't believe that Sony has provided them any finances for keeping the title exclusive.

I anticipate that this game will make its way to the 360 by early next year.
