If you got one keep it, you can still play blu-ray movies right. But people who are yet to buy a console, the wii/360 combo is the way to go.

i think this could be a wake up call to Sony for its strategy with 3rd party developers
also E3 should be interested tomorrow since i think Sony knew already about FF13 was going multiplatform
and Sony is last to to present in the console race

after today im even more interested in sony's and nintendo's conference.. its annoying seein everyone on the internet saying ZOMG MS won E3...

sad thing is, a lot has changed the past month. 1st, ms secured a lot of exclusive jrpgs for the x360 which to me is a bullet to the knee as i love my jrpgs. but i thought, at least ffxiii is still on the ps3.  then ms announces that ffxiii is no longer exclusive. this means that i could have gotten my fix of jrpgs/rpgs plus ffxiii, plus save some money if i bought the x360 instead.

You just watch, in the Nintendo one, SE will announce Final Fantasy XIII for the Wii as well. If they really wanted to make money, they'd release it one the console that's sold the most in the world and costs less to develop graphically (I'd presume).

Just wish I knew why SE think releasing games on the 360 will make them money, StarOcean4, now FFXIII, The Wii is where the money is at. I just hope they make SO4 multiplatform too, as the game might not be as big as FF series in Japan but it's nothing to ignore, profit can be made, just less so on a single platform that's not even sold 650,000 units.

On topic, why would anyone leave with games like GT5, Tekken 6, LittleBigPlanet, Twisted Metal PS3, WipeOut HD on the way?

I know I speak for a lot of people when I say that I'm not big on racing sims, God of War, or FPS. Especially a lot of PS2 fans.

I'm big on MGS4 and FFXIII.

When you spend 700 dollars on something, the information should be upfront about what your buying, and when the competition trumphs it, it might piss the customer off. It has nothing to do with gaming. It has to do with getting ripped the f off when you coulda spent your money on something better, or just saved it and been just as good.

Instead of spending 700 dollars to play FF, we spent 700 dollars to play a racing sim and god of war. Ugaf'nlug!

ils411 you could have saved the money and gotten the 360 instead but then you would also not have a good potion of the games you own, MSG4 heavenly sword, resistance, uncharted so please stop with the sobbing, you'll still get the game a long time from now with the rest of us.

PS3 is the best console ignore the doubters. Anyway FF XIII is not much of a big deal to most PS3 owners well FF XIII will still look better on the PS3.
