According to vgchartz the console ended up below 30k, which is almost as low as it was last summer..

This is the month I believe vgchartz will finally be proved 100% incorrect when it comes to atleast NA sales, last month they had the ps3 undertracked by over 200,000 units. I believe they will be wrong again.

Its simple, there are several factors that make that 30k incorrect.

1. PS3 is in stock in EVERY MAJOR retailer (40gb), the owner of the site claims that the lower priced model is short of supply

Yes thats why every video game retailer has the console in stock.. and why all the gamestops in miami have the 40gb instock..

2. The 80gb bundle had a huge shipment, if most retailers indicate that the bundle has been selling better than the nintendo wii, we would have the wii below 30k as well, if we were to trust those numbers.

3. Wait for NPD.

I was correct, vgchartz is inaccurate when it comes to atleast NA, and follow estimated trends.. When the NPD is released for july I am sure they are going to have the console undertracked by atleast 100,000 units.

All I can say is LOL :D
