I've been getting this idea that Japan gets it first then the PS360 english version comes out so much later?

Please clarify it....

Did DMC4 get delayed? That's the last PS3 "exclusive" that went to 360. Though I doubt that DMC4 was as deep into development or ambitious as FF13 by far.

Looks like they will first finish it for ps3 and release in japan then port it to 360 and release it ww togheter with ps3 version in us and europe but they havent decied a date so im think like 2010 earliest q4 2009

i think it might get delayed,it will probably be released around 2010 in the west

It's just a though but it can be delayed because of the 360 version, they will make the japanese PS3 one first, then they will translate the PS3 and make the 360.

I don't think it will face a delay, the dev tools are supposed to be multi platform and so far there is no real proof to show us that the 360 can't run this game...

I don't think the 360 will cause a delay. At least not much of one. The game is actually being programmed on the PC first with the crystal engine which is already multi-plat. After they finish the game it's just a matter of porting it over. This was known (the PC development) years ago. The fact that the crystal engine was multi-plat was always a little fishy.

"Currently the game is being built on PC, where it's actually functional. We're still focusing on making it work on PS3, so it's difficult to know how long the process of taking it to 360 will take."

"Now that we're developing on a PC base, the pace is going a bit faster," Kitase said. "We haven't introduced new footage of the game, but we should be able to show something new in the near future."

So it's not even working on the PS3 yet.  Yeah, I don't think the 360 will slow it down.

I dunno.. didn't have DMC4... never bought it.
