I loved it. It really captured that sense of adventure and exploration that I remember feeling playing Zelda games as a kid. The game world is very original and well realized (AKA, not just another boring version of Hyrul), plus the story and how it ties into the original Zeldas is very imaginative, and the cel shading/animation was amazingly well done.
Unfortunately, the distanse between islands was a little far apart for my tastes, the lack of dungeons made it seem a bit easy/shallow, and the fetch quest at the end was lame.
If they could have added a few more dungeons (like two or three) and made the islands about 25% closer to each other that game would have been perfect. As it stands, within the top 3 Zelda games for me (and much better than twilight in my opinion).
