I actually know several people that probably won't buy a PS3 now. I know of many people that were going to buy a PS3 for THIS game, but they own 360's so I doubt they are going to buy another console to play this game.

NO!!! I love it, i am more excited for final fantasy versus 13 before and still am no need to sell it. We are still getting Final Fantasy 13 just not exclusive.

Though not as angry as this afternoon, Sony should done all they can to keep this franchise as an exclusive.

Why sell it? You don't lose anything. There are still cool first party games like resistance 2, little big planet, motorstorm 2, and socom. For 3rd party there is going to be Disgaea 3 and Valkyria Chronicles. Even if Disgaea isn't a graphical update, it is still cool and coming exclusively for ps3. Everyone knew FF 13 was going to be multiplat eventually/ Back in like February 07 Square complained about the cost of FF 13 and that they probably would end up multiplatforming the game. It is sort of shocking they actually did it, but not as shocking as people make it out to be. Everybody thought 360 hardware sales would pick up because of the exclusive content for GTA 4, but it did not. There are still enough games on all 3 systems for everyone to enjoy. The PS3 is still worth buying. FF 13 will sell well on both platforms. I don't really see MS pride in the fact that they have 5 million more users of the 360 than the PS3. I thought it would be like 8 or 9 million. If you look at the charts, it says that in america 360 has 12 and a half users while ps3 has only 5 and a quarter. In eu it says that 360 has almost a million more users than PS3 users, so I don't see how that is only 5 million. Especially with the boasting about games and so forth I am surprised that it is only 5 million. The point is own all 3 systems if you can. The 360 and PS3 are about the same price and the 360 price drop is only for the time being and isn't permanant. It is the same as the 60GB PS3 phase out for the 80GB. I have not picked up a 360 yet but I will shortly.

I am not selling it but it didn't really surprise me. Obviously the sony executives are f'in idiots. They are like the matinees for southpark. not only should sony not win this gen, they should come in last for being complete jackasses and not having the brains to secure any titles. I wouldn't be surprised if metal gear solid 4 was on the xbox by the end of the year.
