starcraft 2 playable demo and PC wins E3 for ever for me lol and diablo 3 but i'm reaching here lol

I was also just kidding............ no way in hell would it be a platformer.

I still want to see more of it before I make up my mind, but it is likely I grab a copy if I have the cash when it launches.

This is the rest of the year for my game spending:

Left 4 Dead

Mirror's Edge
Far Cry 2 (maybe)

There's probably a few more, but that's really about it. For the Wii, I'll probably pick up Force Unleashed sometime, but I'm holding out for a PC version, which should have been released alongside the console versions...LucasArts ditching its roots ftl.

I take it there are more games you would buy if it weren't for budget considerations?  Thats sort of where I am right now, my list is just what I want I'm going to have to figure out how to budget all of this stuff in but I admit I'm kind of lucky in that regard.

My current plan is to hold myself over until late October with a couple of purchases and then I should be home free with L4D and GH4 eating up tons of time..and allowing the prices for some of the other titles to come down ...of course this plan has the one flaw that more games are released in the meantime and I fall even further behind.../sigh

Can someone please explain to me the appeal of Mirrors Edge? It looks good, and has a good concept, but it just screams motion sickness to me. Also, PoP I think is the kind of game that is just better on console, though I suppose you can pick up a game pad for pc, if it is supported.

Win? After all the bad conferences and total lack of interest from the big companies Do you still think that they're interested in "Winning" the E3?

So far there has been an EXTREME lack of PC games at E3.

Actually, in the videos avialable on GameTrailers they address the motion sickness thing.  They have a dot in the middle of the screen (its on by default but can be turned off) that you can focus on to prevent motion sickness.  From what they are saying their internal team has been able to severely limit motion sickness issues through this feature with an almost non-existant impact to the overall look/feel of the game.
