Forums - Gaming - Did Square-Enix single-handedly save the MS press conference?

Without SE it would have been really really BAD

Yeah, the whole conference was pretty lackluster.

SE saved it.

Their fake "home" looked pretty dumb. They tried to look better than Mii's but worse than Home avatars. It's much less ambitious than home.

Yup. It was fairly dull until that moment.

there were not much exclusives and yes SE saved it big times.

Was i the only one that had a feeling it was going to happen the second it was announced the final guest of the night was the President of Square Enix? They usually try to go out with a bang on the MS press conference. Remember in 2006 they had that 30 second Halo 3 unveiling.

Pretty much this as soon as Square was announced for the last guest I guessed an unannouced game would be shown, I was actually surprised when he was walking off, I was like hey thats not right.

I almost fell asleep. It was below mediocre.

Yes, it was pretty boring after the demos. The my connection gets cut and I come and hell froze over! :D

Oh. My. God. I think my need for a PS3 has just been fully trounced in a single day... That is some major news. I guess Sony fanboys can't use the 'PS domination starts with FF13' line now.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Bet: If Kingdom Hearts 3 becomes a multiplaform title/is not Wii exclusive then I will be banished from this land for 1 week and sing my praises to those who have proved themselves to be more intelligent than I.http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/RDBRaptor/rdbraptor_sig16.jpg%5B/IMG%5D">

Has anyone noticed that's a recurring theme with MS conferences. Boring, nothing new, then BAM an exclusive stolen?

That's what you can get when the only thing your company is good at is copying and writing checks.

How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...
