1:04- Shane from 1UP asks about Japan and the Xbox 360 version. He says that he hears that it is not coming to Japan. Hashimoto confirms that is is not coming out in Japan for the Xbox 360. As for Infinite Undiscovery, it is a 360 exclusive. Last Remnant will also be at first, but will probably be a PS3 title later.

That's weird that they aren't going to release it at all in Japan for the 360...

Kotaku is live blogging the conference as well, and they said that SE won't begin development of the 360 version until the Japanese ps3 version is finished.

Why bother? The 360's dead in Japan. Perhaps this is how Squeenix tried to placate Sony (i.e. leave Final Fantasy's biggest region exclusively to them)?

Well ,at least this is something for Sony ,as Japan is the region the game will move more hardware.

Probably SE is getting money from both ,MS and Sony ,by giving the game to the 360 in western markets and letting it exclusive for asian markets for the PS3.
