Early this month, Media Create posted the video game softwares and hardwares sale numbers for the first half of 2008 in Japan. Don't know why, PS2 data is not included in this report. It's not surprising, the vieo game market in Japan is shrinking.

DS 10.57 million copies (57.23%); 46.9 billion yen

Total 6.34 million units (77.70% of 2007#); 135.9 billion yen (79.12% of 2007#)
