@ gebx MS dissapoints, indeed. But say, I'm still hoping this "new" 360 is something more than the old one with a bigger hard drive, I mean....RROD 100% eliminated, finally??? Jesus H. Christ, what would it take for that to happen?

ohh...I never head those rumors so I didn't get it. That would indeed be ironic though

So you think the price cut will only be for the 20g and then the 60g that they are introducing will be the same price point as before? I thought that was a possibility but it wasn't confirmed.

...

"Price cut
What do you think will happen when the 20 gig supply dries up and all thats left is a $350 Pro console again? The PS3 will continue to outsell the 360, the console will fall in third place and then the world will blow up!! They're making the same mistake they made two years ago.

MS should of had a $50 price cut after its first year when the PS3 was struggling.. yet they kept the same price and let Sony cut prices first.. and look how well that turned out. This just looks like history repeating itself, MS is giving time for Sony to lower their production cost again. MS doesn't seem to know how to compete... maybe someone should tell them Sony isn't a company they can just buy out.""

Or maybe they were happy with the sales they were getting and trying to be profitable. Price cutting has serious effects on profit because you have to sell a lot more just to get back to the money you were making before the price cut. M$ knows how to run a successful business, perhaps you should not be trying to give them advice.

What is getting the price cut? How much memory is on the Premium's Hard Drive?

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

I've realized that MS has no problems being in third place this generation. But that doesn't bode well for us 360 users. Last place means less games. And while being similar to a PC and being out a year yearlier has helped the 360 secure exclusives and timed exclusives (some intentional, others due to delay PS3 games) I don't believe it will be a trend that will continue. The PS3 will surpass the 360 faster then most of us had predicted and more developers will switch to the PS3 has lead console, which will mean ports (some crappy, some good) for the 360.

On top of that, I really have a hard time believing Sony will repeat the same mistakes for the PS4. MS had their chance this generation and I believe they've blown it. The Next "Next Generation" will be a two horse race (Sony and Nintendo), MS will start last and stay last.

awww dude....you seem so down.  Talk to some of your fellow 360 fans I'm sure they can buck you up a bit.  Always sad to see someone down on a company whose products they obviously enjoy.

...

130 000 X360 consoles sold for every week. Nothing changes.

1.6 million sales for that 3 month sales period for X360.

maybe 2 million?
