As I mentioned in another post, Konami seems to be the "last bastion" for non-Wii support (DS support is substancial).

I expect this to change in the next 12 months - then the Wii flood will begin (increase...).

I know I want to see Silent Hill, MGS, Ace Combat - and a host of other titles from Konami - on the Wii.

Ace combat is a Namco game.

On topic: It's nice to see that more publishers are putting more faith in the Wii now.

But personally I don't care for Take Two's games. Well, maybe an NFL game from 2k sports could be interesting for me if done right.

EA exclusively owns the NFL license.

So far all the big companies that are supporting the Wii have announced either mini game collections or secondary games.

I want to see Take Two and Ubisoft to make big Wii-specific games that are built ground up on the Wii and for its controls and aren't just fun party games.

Still not seeing that, these companies making Wii games makes sense when Wii is selling well but are they all gonna be cash in titles? Are we gonna see some good stuff?

Give me one big game from 3rd parties that isn't a spinoff outside of No More Heroes and Manhunt 2 (a PS2 port).

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Manhunt 2 isn't a PS2 port.  Rockstart stated specifically that the Wii was the primary SKU, and the PS2 was a downgraded version of the Wii game.

We don't know what these developers are going to make yet.  The effects of the recently anounced shifts in support won't be visible till 2008.  As far as another big 3rd party game: Square Enix has Dragon Quest Swords and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers.  Watch the video and tell me they aren't putting huge amounts of development effort into that game.  Again, we jsut don't know yet.  The amount of 3rd party Wii minigames aren't nearly as big as people like to make them out to be.  Stuff like Rygar, Guilty Gears (granted a remake, but with updated graphcis, audio, controls, and new features/characters), FF:CC, RE:UC, Manhunt 2, and No More Heroes we are seeing some early 3rd party support that doesn't involve minigames.  On the other hand, I challenge you to name 6 3rd party minigames comming out for the Wii (or that have been made).

This is simply the beginning of the circle where you build quickest base, get devs, get games, get bigger base,... and so on. Wii and DS will rule the roost this gen.

to add more big Wii non minigames: Zack and Wiki, Boogie, Destiny of Zoro, Guitar Hero 3, Harvest Moon, Iron Man, Lego Star Wars Complete Saga, Madden 08, NiGHTS, One Piece: Unlimited Adventure, Soul Calibur Legends, Sword of Legendia, Gundam... there were hundreds more literally, I just picked out ones people were most likely to recognize.

Hideo Kojima has made it pretty clear that he has Wii envy and would like to run away from the PS3 to make Wii games. So I think it's pretty clear he will be going on that bandwagon soon.

Take2 has Manhunt 2, and Table Tennis. Ubisoft is making Raving Rabbids 2, and Red Steel 2. Capcom is making RE Umbrella Chronicles. EA has Boogie, and My Sims. Sega has Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, and Nights. Konami has Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party, and Dewy's Adventure. Square Enix has Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors, and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. Codemasters has Emergency Mayhem. Namco Bandai has Swords of Legendia, and Soul Caliber: Legends.

Thats all the major exclusives I can find. This list is coming from Wiki so it is probably a little incomplete. Also there are some games that looked good but weren't being made by a major developer and even self publishing so weather or not they will turn out good is questionable. Not to say all the ones listed above are gonna be good, I expect at least 40% of them to be crap. That said I am going to the can.

Mario & Sonic is minigames, Boogie and GH3 are pretty casual too, and most of the rest we know nothing about.

Red Steel could've been great if they hadn't rushed it for launch I bet. I think Ubisoft is going to work harder to put some quality stuff on Wii this Xmas in addition to RRR2. If that happens, and it sells better than Red Steel did, the other third-parties might finally start taking Wii seriously for bigger games.

You're right, Mario and Sonic has been removed.  As far as the others, you can't complain about casual.  GTA is casual, that doesn't mean it isn't great
