What exactly do you mean? Just because you believe something to be real, doesn't mean it is real. It can seem to be real in your head, but that doesn't reflect the real world.

The Truth Is Out There

More than likely, we will never know. Those who believe it's an accurate historical document can only do so by faith.

Well it's a real book, containing some Hebrew myths and Egyptian myths and other various myths from the time it was written, and it has some great parables and advice, and laws about hate, revenge, and slavery. I guess it's got a couple good ideas in there, but I think they're intertwined too tightly with the hate and fear and insanity to make it a worthwhile basis of morality. I think you'd be better off basing your morality off of Crime and Punishment.

neg, it is a historically accurate story book. The only parts of the bible that could be called true would be the gospels which since there has been parts removed and books destroyed they are only part-truths since we might never know the full story of who Jesus was and what role did Mary have in his life which would be located in the Gospel of Mary.
