They don't make many 22" with 1920x1200. If that guy wants a that res he should go up to 24". At 22" the 1680 x 1050 is not only fine but pretty much the perfect size.

You get a lot of screen real estate even with the 1680x1050. A 24" widescreen is massive compared to a 19" CRT. I should know I recently experienced the transition. Think of it this way, the 24" will be similar to having two 19" CRT. Just shop around frankly. I check the Microcenter circulars for deals every week and I've found I can't do much better than that on price.

actually they do make a 21.5  by Ben Q but its not out yet I dont think.

Almost all 22s use a TN panel, colour reproduction/viewing angles aren't that great but they're fine for the average user.

Brand name mean very little considering most companies buy their panels from other manufacturers. Just get the cheapest you can with a decent warranty.
