That sentence completely sums up what I hate most about COD 4. Do you have any idea how frustrating it is to know that your better than another player but you still die because they have the better gun or they got a lucky spawn hence getting a 3 kill streak giving them radar. Your playing a god damn fps and you complain about the difficulties in aiming, maybe its just me but that sound ridiculous. It's like playing a rpg and complaining that you have to level up to become stronger. The entire point of levels isnt to show off as a trophy. If your a low level in Halo then play more, get better at aiming, understand what the good players are doing that our not and you'll improve and level up. Don't get me wrong I love playing COD 4 but theres no denying that so many aspects of the game were put in place to give the more casual player a sense of satisfaction, even if he or she doesn't neccesarily deserve it.

Aiming is only one element of a battle, and if it takes 15 shots to kill a guy then the first few shots don't mean squat if your hitting him, which means hiding, doesn't help you, or being quick to spot a guy, or knowing the map well doesn't help, maybe you don't have lightning quick hand and eye cordination, but your very stealthy around a board and you work hard on your strategy, those are skills that are rewarded in cod, and not so much in halo, your saying aiming should be number 1, yeah in an fps aiming should be number one, but other elements to how you play should be rewarding to, I find kids that grew up on shooters tend to have the best fps skills in halo, and hence I find the entire population of halo 3 multiplayer to be annoying teengarers, where cod tends to have an older base, I can tell just buy listening to my team. And I have played halo 3 for a long time, 30 hours and I haven't been able to increase my rank at all.
As far as the kill streak perks go, yes they are unfair, but honestly being down and out sometimes is apart of the game, beating the odds, please a perfectly even playing field with the exact same players balanced against te exact same skill level every single time creates an incredibly boring experience. Sometimes it is fun to play against noobs and have the advantage, sometimes it's fun to play against amazingly good players that are highly coordinated, so you can learn from them, or brag at better someone better then you. also you know when they got a radar thing so you can use it to your advantage if your good, use the no radar perk, and seperate from your team if their players around they'll trust the radar and you'll have the advantage, things like that just simply mix the gameplay up, something thats important to me, when I'm looking for a 100+ hours of gameplay. Secondly you know when a helicopter is around and a good player can shoot that thing down. My only problem with this is that they don't give you points for shooting it down. I think one way to balance the abilities that would be great is there should be a way to counteract them(like shooting the helicopter down) and you should get points for it.
