I was thinking of something worse. The list from Mr. Montana shows funny names if they are read by English speaking people. But they are far worse names for German villages/towns, sadly I don't remember them correctly.

Well, not all the names are funny just because they're mispronounced by the English language. Ballplay, Tennessee is pretty much self explanatory.
