Im guessing the voice chat would be like it is in Xbox live where it doesn't matter what game they are playing and it will be run through the OS. If so, thats awesome, hopefully you can make like a conference chat and have more than 1 person. Isn't there video chat now?
Video chat, not my thing. Im not the type of person that likes to see the person who im talking to, unless its a hot chick :). With that said, in-game video chat, horrible HORRIBLE idea (IMO), I don't want to sacrifice a portion of my game to see who im talking to.

ingame video chat sounds awsome, this might push me to get a PS eye.

Look like the Wii and Sony (PS3) are a little late of the voice chat.
Second I do not know about all of you, but video chat (the box on the corner of the screen) would seem very annoying to try not to look at two things at once. Would distract while I was playing.

So, what happens when Im rocking a multiplayer session BUTT NEKKID and a 12 yr old comes on? Do I get arrested for exposing myself to a minor? Or does Sony foot the bill for allowing a minor into an adult channel?

The PS3 does have voice chat, just not like xbox live. Same with video chat.
