man! i lost my connection again! i hate my internet provider. but apparently i missed nothing huge.

Wii gave nothing for veteran gamers as they said. Unless AC is big with veteran gamers.

Now, on to the Sony conference. Let´s hope they at least gives some huge announcement. It doesn´t have to be as huge as MS announcement. Just something to make us glad to watch it.

On the bright Side Wii Motion Plus should bring amazing things in the future, I was dissapointed all its doing now is showing off WiiSports2 but it does look good, and for Nintendo Sports and Music should sell a zillion copies, so should Animal Crossing, though for a hardcore, this was a horrible showing, Animal Crossing is looking dated, and the only other exciting anouncment was GTA for the DS, with no media shown at all.

What we didn't get:

Day of Crisis

Zelda(this freaking team has been MIA for a year and a half)

Retro Studios new game(they've had a year of development to show something)

a new franchise

new pikimin

Kid Icuras(hello!!!)

nothing new for online

no new channels

no harddrive

new mario tennis would have been nice.

Wii music has been in development for years, and animal crossing we knew about, so Motion Plus and WiiSports Resort is all they have to show. This I think was an even worse E3 for the hardcore games then last year.

Plus that was a really lame 3rd party showing too.

Over the weekend after hearing about Wii MotionPlus I thought we'd get: Kid Icuras, Zelda with motion plus controls, and maybe a new franchise, plus a harddrive, and maybe some Smash bros. channel through Wiiware.

Whatever, I'll probably buy all three of those games, I'm just not terribly excited about them.

We gotta wait for Tokyo Game Show *sigh*

They better have a secret show like they did the other E3 when they revealed SSBB.

I'm selling my Wii and buying a 360.

I expected this from Nintendo.

And believe it or not, it was the best conference. Because it's aimed at how can gamers play and have fun instead of showing off games like desperately. The mainstream conference will win the media no matter what you say

The success will be measured by the ammount of people playing in the show floor. That's where the real success is (no matter if it's casual or hardore).

Sony and MS famboys may laugh at us now, but Wii Music is gonna steal the hollidays and then more woes that hardcore gaming dying will come.

I'm actually excited for Wii Sports Resort and Wii music. Can we record our music videos?(that would be awesome)

I wonder what other games Nintendo has the were not in the showroom. Brawl was not revealed in a conference, right?

The way Nintendo said at the beginning was like

"First we get the old gamers. Then we forget about them and get new gamers"


I´m not saying that no veteran gamers like their Wii. I´m just saying that´s the feeling I got in the beginning.

P.S. - Who the hell was that annoying woman?
Why didn´t they let Reggie do all (at least most) of the talking?

If Microsoft hadn't dropped their megaton, this would be the most boring E3 ever so far.

Nintendo did announce interesting things, especially the new motion controls, but they certainly didn't deliver in terms of getting people excited!

The first step would be to get that woman away from any stage.
