Forums - Gaming - is square enix remaking to much?

They are remaking a lot of titles...And I guess it bothers me a bit. I mean how many versions are there of FF 1-6. And now DQ IV, V and VI? Also now Star Ocean 1 and 2. Chrono Trigger as well. Seems a bit much at times, some I don't mind though.

I would like to see remakes of FF VII, VIII and IX though. Though I doubt that they will be better than the originals in my opinion, because they will probably get rid of random battles, anc change many ways that you played those games that I loved.

instead of the ds remake they should be working in a trigger sequel thatd be much better than a stupid remake

besides remaking every game, they overcharge for their games

This could be a test for one though. Maybe if it does well we will see a sequel on the ds.

I really don't mind. As long as they put some effort into it, like with the DS games, and not just simple ports, like the gameboy games.

From a gamer perspective yes. But from business perspective, as long as the remakes make money, they should continue to do more remakes.

A direct port of Chrono trigger kinda disapoints me... I'm all for new Chrono Trigger games or a decent remake ala FF4. I'm conflicted on the port... I cleared it twice already.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

There are still 11 endings for you to get so a direct port isn't all that bad

I like it. Other than FF4, I havn't really gotten to play these remakes before
